The participation of the directors of the Ghanaian Cocoa Authority and the International Cocoa Organization underscores the global integration of Swiss efforts to improve cocoa sustainability. In 2017, around 50 percent of the cocoa imported into Switzerland came from proven sustainable cultivation. By 2025, this proportion is to be increased to 80 percent, with progress measured annually. To this end, a monitoring, evaluation and learning framework has been developed that covers all dimensions of sustainability.
