Following a voting period (in written form) until October 22, the General Assembly of the Cocoa Platform elected Filippo Veglio as their new president. Filippo Veglio, Managing Director of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (wbcsd) is taking over from Ernst A. Brugger, founding president of the Platform.
