The top cocoa-producing countries of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, and the world’s leading chocolate and cocoa companies are releasing action plans to end deforestation in the cocoa supply chain and restore forest areas. This public disclosure is part of the implementation commitments of the Cocoa & Forests Initiative, which was launched in November 2017 at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany.
